Overview The Desert Devils Team has also been very successful in placing our gymnasts among the top universities in the nation with a FULL-RIDE SCHOLARSHIP. We have a 100% placement rate for all of our graduating seniors. We currently have athletes in colleges such Arizona State University, University of Washington, Stanford University, University of New Hamphshire, and recently signed yet another athlete to the dominant University of Utah Gymnastics Program. Moreover, we have placed athletes all over the country — usually to their first choice of schools. The Desert Devils Team Program consists of Levels 4 - Elite. We integrate competition quality equipment, a state-of-the-art pit system with the most sophisticated training methods available to allow our competitive gymnasts to compete at the highest levels successfully. These classes are designed for girls who want to pursue competitive gymnastics. These classes, due to increased practice time, usually speed up the rate of skill acquisiton and enhance maturity in the sport. * Mini-hotshots: This program is for your 3-5 yr. old gymnast who has been invited to participate in a specific * Hot-shots: This program is for your 4-7 yr. old gymnast who has been invited to participate in a specific * Pre-team: This program is for your 5-10 yr. old gymnast who has been invited to participate in a specific

Compulsory Team Levels 4-6 ![]() ![]() Levels 4 through 6 are compulsory competitive levels. To enter into level 4, the gymnast must be proficient at 75 % of the skills in level 3 as determined by a certified skill evaluator. Requirements to move to the level 5 and 6 are based upon a minimum score set by USA Gymnastics which must be achieved in the previous level. Compulsory competition means the routines are set and the gymnast must follow a specific routine. Deductions are taken for any deviation from the established compulsory routine. Our compulsory program has some great coaches that work hard to eliminate all those deductions from the compulsory routines. Jay Soltis is the Compulsory Program Director. ![]() |
